Could your dreams be revealing your lover's emotional state?

I received a dream today from a dreamer who was concerned about his wife. The dream demonstrates the close psychic bonds between lovers, who during the twilight hours share their inner secrets.

In the dream, the dreamer was in a house that was mysteriously dark and that he described as a kind of purgatory.   He was exploring it because his wife had moved into the house recently.   He found her asleep on the bed and tried desperately to awaken her, but she was so deeply asleep that she seemed to be under a spell.  

What this dream revealed was a man's despirate attempt to reach his wife. She had entered an dark house and inner room, a self-created purgatory that probably signified a deep depression. His desperate attempts to awaken her undoubtedly represented futility and pointed to his frustration in not being able to awaken her to the power of his love. His task now would be to illuminate her emotional turmoil through sharing the insights he had received from the dream.   Through the intelligence of love and the intuitive insights that he gained from the dream, he could begin to reach out to her with new understanding- as someone who knows her better than she knows herself.

Dreamers often report that they receive psychic information about those closest to them through dreams. These dreams are called telepathic dreams. For some intimately bonded couples, it seems that their dreaming minds are linked through a great love channel- the deep psychic bond they share. Sharing information through unconscious channels is a continuous process, a kind of psychic communion that we all experience in truth. Most often, however, we ignore the cues and intuitive clues that point to our partner's hidden emotions. If we are not open to these cues we may miss opportunities for more intimacy and heart- to-heart communication. A dream uncovering deep sorrow, hidden fears, childhood memories or even more current concerns may warn us that something is brewing beneath the surface and may errupt soon. We may be just the one to help the one we love to dive into their unexplored emotions and begin the healing process.

Often telepathic dreams are a dreamer's way of healing their partner during the night. It seems that they are actually offering healing energy while at the same time gathering information during these telepathic healing sessions. The energy they give during these telepathic healing dreams may have profound results. Some dreamers report that they have awakened with renewed hope or feeling as though a heavy fog has been lifted from their mind.

Telepathic dreams may reveal our partners secret desires A desire for more romance or to conceive a child may not a topic that they have been able to openly express during the day, but at night the unconscious reveals it all. These hidden agendas need a way to be aired and often they are first revealed through the material in a partner's dream. When they are they offer an opportunity for more open communication.

Not all dreams about a loved one are telepathic communications. Many represent and reflect more our own unconscious fears or anxieties about them or our responses to our interactions with them. For example, a woman who repeatedly dreams that her husband is cheating on her, may in truth have a deep seeded fear that she will be betrayed. It is likely that her own insecurities have surfaced rather than any factual information pointing to her husband's infidelity. Of course, there are some women who will receive the awful truth, that it is time to take a good look at who one is living with. Some women have accurately predicted their partner's unfaithfulness. One woman dreamer I met discovered her husband was married to someone else and was living a double life with another family.

Telepathic dreams demonstrate the closeness and bonds we share with those we love. We are linked heart-to- heart and soul-to-soul on our journey through life. At night we are creating dreams together sharing ourselves in ways we don't in our waking life

Dream Precepts

The following basic principles will help you understand the dreaming process. I am struck by how many individuals believe theri dreams are meaningless processes of their minds. Dream wisdom tells us that in honoring our dreams we are given valuable psychological tools for personal and spiritual growth.

Precept 1

Every single dream is of service to the dreamer. It is important to look at every symbol and element as if one were savoring the separate flavors in a meal.

Precept 2

Every dream has an intended message and meaning for the dreamer. Sometimes it is the conscious mind of the dreamer that fights against receiving the dream's message.

Dream Precepts cont....  

Precept 3

Dream language is beautiful, meaningful, poetic and pure. In most cases, each symbol in a dream acts as a metaphor for a larger idea or is an understated truth about what one feels or believes.

Percept 4

All character of a dream are equally important. Characters may play more than one role. The characters in dreams do not necessarily represent various parts of our personality. They can, however, mirror parts of our soul brought as messengers in the dream.

Dreams are good. Therefore, here is nothing to fear in a dream. Even our worst nightmares may come as a powerful warning of conflicts that demand resolution within the psyche.

Dream wisdom tells us that we need not seek to control our dreams and we need not be controlled by them. Dreams come from a wise and intelligent source. Lucid dreamers who attempt to master their dreaming life by redirecting the dream's course toward their desired outcome may be defeating their dream's purpose.

Precept 8

Dreams offer the keys to wisdom about the self. Dream dictionaries are a tool. Our dreams unlock the secrets within the subconscious whose meaning may be veiled from the conscious mind. A dream dictionary can offer us valuable insights into what a symbol may mean in a general sense. Applying intuition can add more.
