| Dear friends and dreamers,
Over the last couple of months, I have been swinging through the ethers dreaming Hillary Clinton dreams. Yes, Hillary is my choice for the democratic party nomination and there are lots of reasons why. But the one reason that has stuck with me the most is the endorsement of my deceased mother who appeared in dream to describe the qualities we need in our next president.

In my first dream, I was with Hillary Clinton and my mother. My mother’s appearance had changed and she looked like she could have been Hillary’s twin sister. I told my mom she and Hillary had a lot of the same qualities, views and concerns. Hillary agreed and was holding a copy of my book, which she was taking on the political trail with her to read.

For those of you who know nothing about my mother, I can sum it up by saying that in the early sixties she turned me onto Joan Biaz and Bob Dylan. She was anti-establishment and politically correct at the same time, always abreast of everything happening in the world because she read 3 newspapers a day. She cared about the downtrodden, was against the Vietnam War and complained about sitting in gas lines as they reminded her of the depression. She always voted democratic

My second dream must have been precognitive because I caught a news clip in the afternoon that spoke to the subject of my dream. In my dream, Hillary and Bill were young and dancing together in a soft embrace. Bill was wearing a sailor’s uniform and Hillary a 1940’s dress. |
I am still trying to figure the dream out, but one interesting detail to consider is that Bill Clinton never served in the Navy or any branch of the military for that matter. Perhaps the uniform signified that he had signed up and was ready to put his life on the line. And Hillary's dress suggested an old-fashioned girl. The news clip was Bill speaking to a group of South Carolinians telling them that he was so lucky because he was married to his best friend.

I am in a church all and there seems to be a gathering of some sort with people milling around. I look down and see a rattle snake slithering around the floor close to my feet. I step over it and try to move out of the way. A woman, who I recognize as a Hillary Clinton look-alike steps in and grabs the snake first trying to force it into a box, but the lid won't keep it in. It is pushing its way out, snarling and hissing. The woman then takes the vicious looking snake by the head and carries it outside confidently. She is not frightened and beams with confidence. |
Comment: Although snakes in dreams are most often positive symbols, in this case I would interpret it as a more negative symbol. Sometimes snakes in our dreams can represent sneaky individuals who temp us and can't be trusted. I interpreted the dream to mean that Hillary was able to handle and subdue the negative campaigning from Obama.

I was on the phone talking to Hillary who was doing a women's event in Redwood City. I go to this hotel where the event is going on and have a long conversation with Hillary. She is warm, gentle, generous with her time and a real friend. She shows me that she as almost finished my book, I tell her that Bill needs to read it also. She said she sped through it and it was enjoyable to read. Suddenly Stephanie, an old friend who I haven't seen in 10 years, shows up at the hotel and Hillary goes up to her and says, "You are here too". Steph told me that she came to the city to go shopping for Xmas gifts for her kids. We go up a small elevator lift to her room to talk more. Then I descend by myself in the small elevator. When I come out to the lobby where Hillaries event is just completing. I catch Hillary before she leaves and am asked to join them for dinner. We go to a restaurant. |
The dream seems to remark on my desire to get to know Hillary more intimately.
